Artistic & professional career

Already in his school days Tom Stephan held his first own art exhibition [01] and gained first experiences in public piano playing [02] [03] [04]. For economics B.Sc. at the University of Hohenheim he first moved back to Stuttgart. Alongside his studies, he built up his self-employment and has been a freelance artist since 2021. Since 2022 he is a freelancer at ArtNight and leads workshops for acrylic painting [05]. Tom Stephan donates 10% of his proceeds from the sale of his art to Kindernothilfe e.V. in Duisburg [06] [07]. He then moved to North Rhine-Westphalia for his Master’s in Economics M.Sc. at the University of Bielefeld & does volunteer work in addition to his studies [08]. In his mid-twenties Tom Stephan started to create art with his language as well. Since 2023 he has been working as a freelance writer for several agencies. He takes on commissioned work [09], writes slam poetry [10], and since 2023 has regularly published articles [11] [12] [13] in anthologies. Tom Stephan improvises partially blind [14] in jazz & classical styles, teaches beginners piano [15] & has been a proud student of concert pianist Andrei Fadeev [15] since 2023. Before the age of thirty, he looks at hundreds of created works of various art styles [16].

He is pursuing a free doctorate in the field of human resources. His main interests are work as a lifetime, talent management & new work. Tom Stephan is a member of the Young Professional Network of the German Society for Human Resource Management [17].
