As part of a charity art sale, 40 paintings from my art classes in Bielefeld were able to make a difference. Thanks to the committed buyers, the proceeds will go to the Lichtstrahl Uganda e. V. association in Münster, which supports important social projects.

I am delighted that I was able to secure Bielefeld as a location for Open Piano for Refugees, a non-profit musical project that I became familiar with during my studies in Stuttgart. Thanks to Klavierhaus Kemp and the volunteer stand supervisors, this can take place at the LOOM shopping centre.

In collaboration with ArbeiterKind e.V., an open counselling service for first-generation academics has been established at the Bürgerwache Bielefeld. I support this project wholeheartedly, as I believe that education – both academic and cultural – is one of the most important human resources.
